Petrochemicals

MOL Group Petrochemical Division is the 8th largest player in the European polyethylene and polypropylene markets, and comprises both TVK and Slovnaft petrochemical businesses.

The Division uses its integrated production facilities to produce olefins and polymers, including HDPE, LDPE, and PP, from a variety of liquid and gas hydrocarbon raw materials produced primarily by MOL Group refineries. The polymers are delivered via integrated sales channels, mainly to domestic and European export end-users. Our products are present in more than 40 countries.

One of MOL Group Petrochemical Division’s key challenges is to meet strong growth in Central & Eastern European polymer demand, which it is striving to achieve through additional capacity constructed as part of its strategic development programme.

The combined polymer output of Slovnaft and TVK has increased to more than 1,2 million ton of PE and PP per annum, making MOL Group Petrochemical Division one of  the largest integrated polyolefin producer in Central Europe.
