MOL Group Lubricant Division was formed on the 1st of January, 2004 with the integration of lubricant operations of MOL Plc’s subsidiaries.In Hungary and Slovakia we are market leaders, in Czech Republic and in Romania we possess a considerable market share. On top of these countries we have a representative office in Kiev (Ukraine) and in Subotica (Serbia); furthermore we export products to other countries as well.

Our company produces and sales almost all principal types of lubricants, including automotive motor and gear oils, industrial oils, specialty lubricants, metalworking fluids, greases, additives and automotive chemicals. To ensure the maximum product availability in our region, besides the continuously extending filling station network of MOL Group we operate an effective network of our sales representatives and are in close cooperation with specialist wholesalers. Our customers are mainly transportation, agricultural and industrial companies, car repairing shops and car owners. Automotive lubricants represented approximately 43%, industrial lubricants represented 49% and greases represented 8% of total finished lubricants sales by volume in 2005.

Production

MOL Group's lubricants base stock is produced at Duna Refinery and transported by barge and rail for blending to Almásfüzitő blending facility located in north-central Hungary near to the Danube River.

In addition our Technical Service Department consisting of highly qualified and experienced experts, the Lubricant Service Team, and the Wearcheck Laboratory (which tests used oils) provide our customers world-class support services.
