Exploration in the Arabic Peninsula -Yemen

MOL Group is operating two exploration blocks in Yemen. We identified new promising geological structures in our concession areas, where further exploration wells will be drilled.

In Yemen, MOL Group operates 2 exploration blocks with 100% working interest, while the State of Yemen carries 15% and 12.5%, respectively.

In Block 48, two exploration wells were drilled in the first phase. One of them resulted in a non-commercial oil find. Recently, in phase 2, a new wildcat well was prepared by seismic survey.

In Block 49, where 2 exploration drillings proved traces of oil, we are planning to involve partners in the execution of the remaining work commitment.
